UKS Mobility has announced Motability Scheme to buy new mobility scooter and powered wheelchairs.
The sales page spokesperson of UKS Mobility speaks about the Motability Scheme, UK has a population of 1.7 million disabled people who get higher rate mobility and disability allowance and around 16,000 people receive War Pensioners Supplement Mobility. So customers who either receive Higher Rate Mobility Allowance or the War Pensioners Mobility supplement will be eligible for the Motability scheme, which actually provides vehicle solution to ensure that the customers are mobile as well as independent.
Speaking about the present status of the scheme he says, At present, around 470,000 disabled customers have opted to pay their allowances to our Mobility Scheme to compensate the expense of owning a mobility scooter/powered wheelchair or car through our hire purchase plans.

Under the Hire Purchase option customers can buy their own vehicles and do so once the agreement is completed. This plan also includes insurance of mobility scooters/powered wheelchairs.
