According to Maria Santos, spokeswoman for ArriveNEWS, a division of the Industrial Leaders Group, the marketplace was created for its previously launched steel and plastic pipes directory which includes offerings for various types of pipes constructed in PVC, polyethylene, ABS, flexible PVC, reinforced plastic, stainless steel, copper, carbon steel, aluminum and other metal and plastic materials.

Santos said the directory and marketplace were both created as value-added resources for exhibitors and visitors of its virtual trade show with emphasis on plumbing equipment and accessories offered by domestic and overseas manufacturers and distributors with emphasis on North America and Western Europe, especially but not limited to Germany, Spain, France and the United Kingdom.

Previously, in partnership with Worldwide Industrial, ArriveNEWS launched a new version of its steel and plastic pipes buying guide featuring a broad variety of plastic pipe fittings as well as allied products such as valves, tubing plumbing tools. The publication was first introduced in 2003 and has been updated weekly with new offers from pipe and fittings manufacturers in dozens of markets.
