In Honor of b****t Cancer Awareness Month Ravenswood Chiropractic and Wellness Center Offers Presentation to the Community on Innovative b****t Cancer Detection.
Chicago, IL October 5, 2009 - On Saturday, October 24, 2009 at 3:30, Ravenswood Chiropractic and Wellness Center will host guest speaker Dr. Nicholas LeRoy, D.C., Dipl.Ac., director of the Illinois Center for Progressive Medicine. Dr. LeRoy will discuss b****t cancer prevention, genetics, mammography and b****t thermography. Dr. LeRoy has been featured on NBC and CBS news, and local radio as a holistic medicine expert and lecturer at Gildas Club of Chicago on b****t cancer prevention and treatment.
The American Cancer Society estimates that over 200,000 women will die from b****t cancer every year. Currently, physical examination and mammography are the standard-of-care in b****t cancer detection; however, mortality rates have not changed appreciably for forty years. Dr. LeRoys presentation will focus on b****t thermography. According to Dr. LeRoy, Research has proven that infrared b****t thermography identifies cancers not detected by mammography, assists in earlier detection, and improves survival rates by up to 61%. Because thermography does not use radiation or b****t compression, it will not promote b****t cancer. There have been 800 research studies on b****t thermography.
